Your Choice
Your level will be assessed on arrival and your course consultant will discuss your program and advise you on the best options for your personal or business learning needs.

Flexibility
New classes are scheduled on an on-going basis and participants can choose between morning or evening classes. One 12-hour course module is scheduled in 1.5-hour classes, held one/twice a week or as otherwise discussed with our course consultants.

Levels of Proficiency
 
Fundamental
The Fundamental level includes three sections - Lower Fundamental, Middle Fundamental, and Upper Fundamental.This will enable students to use and understand simple communication in daily life, such as: greetings, self introduction, shopping, bargaining, taking public transportation, making appointments, ordering food, seeing the doctor, booking etc. Furthermore, the Fundamental level will prepare students for Social level.

Social
The Social level is suitable for students who have completed the Fundamental level or those that possess a vocabulary of approximately 1000 words. This level consists of 3 sections - Lower Social, Middle Social, and Upper Social.The contents of each lesson focus on topics concerning foreigner experiences in China including living in, working in, or sightseeing within China . All of the texts are composed of dialogue using conversational Chinese from everyday situations; therefore Social level students should find each lesson both practical and interesting.

Professional
After the Social level, students can move into different areas of Professional Chinese (Business, Tourism, Literature, Culture, History, etc.). At the Professional level, students progress at his/her own pace. Oral expression and composition are emphasized as well as strengthening reading and vocabulary.

HSK Preparation
The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (Chinese Level Test) is offered a few times a year. We will help students prepare for any level of HSK - Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced. With the help of an experienced teacher, students will feel more comfortable in passing the exam.
